Carl Broemel Biography
Carl Broemel (born January 30, 1974) is an American rock musician. He is best known as the guitarist, pedal steel guitarist, saxophonist, and back-up vocalist for the Louisville, Kentucky band My Morning Jacket. Prior to joining My Morning Jacket, Broemel played guitar in the pop/rock band Old Pike and the alternative pop/rock band Silvercrush. He grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, and attended Pike High School. In addition to his work with My Morning Jacket, Broemel has released two solo albums, including the critically acclaimed 'All Birds Say' in 2010. He has also collaborated with artists such as Wanda Jackson and Ray LaMontagne.
