Carl Reiner

Carl Reiner (March 20, 1922 – June 29, 2020) was an American actor, stand-up comedian, director, screenwriter, and author. He had a successful career that lasted for seven decades. Reiner received numerous awards and honors, including 11 Primetime Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. He was recognized for his contributions to television comedy, particularly for his work on Your Show of Shows and Caesar's Hour. Reiner collaborated with Mel Brooks on iconic comedy albums, such as 2000 Years with Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks. He also created and produced The Dick Van Dyke Show and acted in films like It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World.
