Carlos Leal Biography
Carlos Leal (born July 9, 1969) is a Swiss rapper and actor. Born in Lausanne to Galician immigrants, Leal co-founded the group Sens Unik in 1990, which produced four gold records and contributed music to films such as La Haine (1995) and Neutre (2001). After appearing in the documentary Babylon 2 (1993), Leal decided to pursue a serious acting career and trained under director Jack Garfein at The Actors Studio in Paris. He made his film debut in Week End Break (2002) and went on to appear in various French and Swiss productions. Leal gained recognition for his role in Snow White (2005), earning him accolades such as Best Actor at the Africa Film Festival and Swiss Film Prize for Best Performance in a Leading Role. He also played a croupier and poker tournament organizer in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006).
