Carlos Sainz Jr. Biography
Carlos Sainz Jr., whose full name is Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro, is a Spanish racing driver. Born on September 1, 1994, he is currently competing in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. Sainz comes from a racing background, as his father is Carlos Sainz Sr., a two-time World Rally Champion. Before entering Formula One, Sainz raced in the British and European Formula 3 championships in 2012 for Carlin, and in the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 season for DAMS, where he won the championship. He made his Formula One debut with Toro Rosso and later moved to McLaren in 2019. Sainz achieved his first podium finish and later transferred to Ferrari for the 2021 season. In 2022, he secured his first pole position and career win at the British Grand Prix.
