Carlos Sanz

Carlos Sanz is an American actor best known for his role as the main villain, Carlito, in the 2006 film Crank. Born in Chicago, Sanz graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago, where he studied mathematics and philosophy. He is recognized for his versatility in portraying a range of characters, including Carlos Arredondo, the real-life hero in the film Stronger, and a corrupt Costa Rican official in Runner Runner. Sanz has worked with esteemed directors such as Ron Howard, Andrew Davis, and Alan Rudolf. His other notable roles include mob boss Manuel Garza in Beer for My Horses and an LA detective in the Lifetime movie Detention.
