Carly Schroeder Biography
Carly Brook Schroeder is an American actress and U.S. Army officer. Born on October 18, 1990, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Schroeder is best known for her role as Serena Baldwin in the General Hospital spin-off Port Charles and her recurring role on the Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire. In 2007, she played the lead in the film Gracie, inspired by a real-life tragedy. In February 2019, Schroeder announced her decision to join the United States Army. After attending Officer Candidate School, she graduated as a Second Lieutenant on September 20, 2019. She currently holds the rank of First Lieutenant and serves as an Infantry Officer. Carly's younger brother, Hunter Schroeder, is a former actor and now serves in the U.S. Marine Corps. Her parents, Paul and Kelli, reside in Ventura County, California.
