Carmen Carrera is an American reality television personality, model, burlesque performer, and actress. She gained recognition for her appearance on the third season of the Logo reality television series RuPaul's Drag Race and its spin-off series RuPaul's Drag U. Born on April 13, 1985, in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, Carrera is a transgender woman and transgender rights activist. She made history on RuPaul's Drag Race as the second contestant to rejoin the cast after being eliminated. Carrera was part of the 'Heathers' clique, named after the film 'Heathers,' alongside Raja, Manila Luzon, and Delta Work.
