Carmen Filpi (March 22, 1923 – May 9, 2003) was an American character actor known for his roles in films and on television. He made his acting debut in the 1969 film 'Wild Gypsies' and went on to star in other notable films such as 'The Ice Pirates' (1984), 'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure' (1985), 'Life Stinks' (1991), and 'The Wedding Singer' (1998). Carmen also appeared in the made-for-TV film 'Goodbye Casanova' (2000) alongside Yasmine Bleeth and his final film was 'Eight Crazy Nights' (2002). He also had a memorable role as the Reverend Jackson P. Sayer in the horror film 'Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers' (1988). Carmen made numerous guest appearances in popular TV series including 'Baretta', 'Barney Miller', 'WKRP in Cincinnati', 'Quantum Leap', 'Married...with Children', 'Growing Pains', and 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch'. He had a recurring role in the short-lived series 'Freebie and the Bean'. Carmen Filpi passed away from cancer at the age of 80.
