Carmen Osbahr

Carmen Osbahr-Vertiz is a Mexican-born American puppeteer and actress. She was born on April 21, 1962. Osbahr has gained recognition for her portrayal of Rosita, a beloved character on the popular children's series Sesame Street since 1991. In addition to Sesame Street, she has also performed as Kiki Flores in The Puzzle Place and Lily in Johnny and the Sprites. Osbahr's talents extend beyond television as well. She was an additional Muppet performer for the live show The Muppets Take the Bowl at the Hollywood Bowl in September 2017. She also performed in London for The Muppets Take the O2 the following year. Osbahr's other notable works include Billy Bunny's Animal Songs, The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson, Hispanic America: Sésamo, Between the Lions, Bear in the Big Blue House, and more.
