Carole Ita White is an American television and film actress. Born in New York City to actors Jesse White and Celia Cohn, she started her acting career in the early 1970s. White's first TV role was in the TV movie 'Evil Roy Slade' and she later appeared in the series 'The Odd Couple', which was produced and directed by Garry Marshall. She is best known for her role as Big Rosie Greenbaum on the popular TV show 'Laverne & Shirley', where she portrayed the nemesis to the title characters. White continued to make appearances as Big Rosie during the second and third seasons of the show.
