Carolee Ann Carmello is an American actress known for her impressive performances in Broadway musicals. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Maple LaMarsh in the television series Remember WENN (1996–1998). Carmello has been nominated for three Tony Awards and five Drama Desk Awards, winning the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical in 1999 for her role in Parade. She graduated from the University at Albany with a degree in business administration. Carmello made her Broadway debut in City of Angels and later played notable roles in Chess, Falsettos, 1776 revival, and The Scarlet Pimpernel. She originated the role of Lucille Frank in Parade.
