Carolina Bartczak is a Canadian actress of Polish descent known for her roles in X-Men: Apocalypse and An Audience of Chairs. Born in Germany, she emigrated to Canada with her family and grew up in Kitchener, Ontario. After studying biochemistry at the University of Toronto and working as a travel writer/photographer in southern Croatia, she pursued acting and attended the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City. Bartczak has dual citizenship between Canada and Poland and is fluent in French and Polish. Her first on-screen role was in The Smurfs 2, where she played a high maintenance mother.
