Caroline Georgiana Blakiston (born 13 February 1933) is an English actress known for her roles in various television series and films. She gained recognition in the United Kingdom for her role in the comedy series Brass. Internationally, she is best known for her portrayal of Mon Mothma in the Star Wars film Return of the Jedi and Aunt Agatha in Poldark. Blakiston was born in London to Hugh Noel Blakiston, a renowned archivist and author, and Rachel Georgiana. She attended RADA and appeared in several episodes of The Avengers, as well as other ITC productions such as The Saint and Department S.
