Caroline Quentin (born Caroline Amanda Jane Jones on 11 July 1960) is an English actress, broadcaster, and television presenter. She gained recognition for her roles in various television shows, including portraying Dorothy in Men Behaving Badly (1992–1998), Maddie Magellan in Jonathan Creek (1997–2000), and DCI Janine Lewis in Blue Murder (2003–2009). Quentin was born in Reigate, Surrey, and attended the independent Arts Educational School in Tring, Hertfordshire. Throughout her career, she has showcased her talent in both comedy and drama.
