Caleb Casey McGuire Affleck-Boldt, known professionally as Casey Affleck, is an American actor. Born on August 12, 1975, he is the younger brother of actor Ben Affleck. Affleck began his career as a child actor, featuring in the PBS television film Lemon Sky in 1988. He gained recognition for his roles in films by directors Gus Van Sant and Steven Soderbergh, including To Die For (1995), Good Will Hunting (1997), and the Ocean's film series (2001-2007). Affleck's breakthrough came in 2007 when he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. He has since appeared in a variety of films, including Gone Baby Gone (2007) and Tower Heist (2011). Affleck also directed the mockumentary I'm Still Here in 2010.
