Casey King is an author, filmmaker, and historian of ideas. He currently serves as Director of Capstone Programs at Yale's Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and is a faculty member there. Previously, King held executive positions at the Yale Center for Analytical Sciences and the W.E.B. DuBois Institute at Harvard University. Before pursuing a career in academia, King worked as a corporate bond trader for Salomon Brothers. He is the author of 'Ambition, A History, From Vice to Virtue', published by Yale University Press in 2013. King also co-authored 'Oh, Freedom! Kids Talk About the Civil Rights Movement with the People who Made it Happen', recipient of the Flora Steiglitz Strauss Award in 1997. King conducted this project while working as an elementary school teacher.
