Cat Cora

Cat Cora, born Catherine Ann Cora on April 3, 1967, is an American professional chef, television personality, business person, and cookbook author. She gained fame as an 'Iron Chef' on Iron Chef America and as co-host of Around the World in 80 Plates. Cora was born in Jackson, Mississippi and was adopted at one week old by Virginia Lee and Spiro 'Pete' Cora. Her adoptive father and grandfather were both restaurateurs, which inspired her passion for cooking. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Cat Cora is renowned for her culinary expertise and contributions to the world of cooking.
