Cate Blanchett

Catherine Elise Blanchett is an Australian actor and producer. She is known for her versatile work across independent films, blockbusters, and stage. Blanchett has received numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, four British Academy Film Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards. She made her film debut in 1997 and gained international prominence for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth I in the biographical period drama Elizabeth. Blanchett also won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator. She later won another Academy Award for her role as a neurotic former socialite in Blue Jasmine. Blanchett is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
