Catherine Bach

Catherine Bach (born Catherine Bachman; March 1, 1954) is an American actress known for her iconic role as Daisy Duke in the television series The Dukes of Hazzard. She also portrayed Margo Dutton in African Skies and joined the cast of the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless as Anita Lawson in 2012. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Bach is the daughter of Norma Jean Kucera and Bernard P. Bachman. She was raised in Warren, Ohio, and spent part of her childhood on a ranch in South Dakota. Bach graduated from Stevens High School in Rapid City, South Dakota, in 1970. She briefly studied drama at UCLA while designing clothes to supplement her income.
