Catherine Cohen

Catherine Cohen (born 1991) is an American comedian, actress, and singer. Known for her unique blend of stand-up comedy and cabaret-style songs, she has gained recognition for her live performances. Cohen's first Netflix comedy special, 'The Twist...? She's Gorgeous', was released in 2022. Raised in Houston, Texas, she comes from a Catholic and Jewish background. Cohen studied musical theater as a child and graduated from Princeton University with an English degree. She later moved to New York City, where she honed her skills in stand-up and sketch comedy, taking classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade and performing at venues such as the Peoples Improv Theater. Cohen's comedy cabaret performances have garnered critical acclaim, earning her a spot on 'comedians to watch' lists from Vulture and Time Out in 2018. She currently hosts a monthly show, 'The Twist...? She's Gorgeous', at Joe's Pub, featuring her singing and accompaniment. She also performs a weekly show called 'Cabernet Cabaret' at Club Cumming.
