Catherine Jean Crier is an American journalist and author known for her books A Deadly Game and The Case Against Lawyers. Born in Dallas, Texas in 1954, Crier was the youngest elected state judge in Texas history, serving as a Texas State District Judge for the 162nd District Court. Currently, she is a managing partner in Cajole Entertainment, focusing on developing television, film, and documentary projects. Crier is also a frequent guest contributor and panelist on various news programs and conducts speaking engagements nationwide. Additionally, she blogs for The Huffington Post and has written five books, including Patriot Acts: What Americans Must Do to Save the Republic, published in 2011.
