Catherine Curtin

Catherine Curtin is an American actress known for her roles in various TV shows. She gained recognition for her portrayal of correctional officer Wanda Bell in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black. Curtin has also appeared in other notable TV shows such as Insecure, Stranger Things, and Homeland. Born and raised in New York City, she began her career in theater and made her Broadway debut in Six Degrees of Separation. She has appeared in numerous Off-Broadway productions and received a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination for her performance as Janis Joplin in Love, Janis. In addition to her TV work, Curtin has made guest appearances in shows like New York Undercover, Sex and the City, Law & Order, and 30 Rock. She has won two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for her work on Orange Is the New Black.
