Catherine Deneuve

Catherine Deneuve is a French actress, singer, model, and producer, known for her portrayal of aloof and mysterious beauties. Born on October 22, 1943, she made her screen debut at the age of 13 and gained recognition for her roles in films by directors such as Luis Buñuel, François Truffaut, and Roman Polanski. Deneuve has been nominated for the prestigious César Award 14 times, winning for her performances in The Last Metro (1980) and Indochine (1992). In addition to her acting career, she also became the official face of Marianne, France's national symbol of liberty, in 1985.
