Catherine Porter

Catherine Porter (born 1965) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. She gained recognition as a former member of The Brian May Band and has appeared in various musicals and films. Porter released her solo album, Something Good, in 2002 and has worked as a backup singer for notable artists including Queen, Tony Hadley, Edwin Starr, Kiki Dee, Paul Rodgers, Sam Moore, Mel B, and Chaka Khan. She initially toured with Michael Crawford in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and later joined Brian May's backing band, touring with Guns N' Roses. Porter also contributed backing vocals to the 1995 Queen track "Let Me Live". She resided in London for a decade, appearing in plays such as Only the Lonely and Sunset Boulevard.
