Catherine Steadman Biography
Catherine Steadman is a British actress and author, born on 8 February 1987. She trained at the Oxford School of Drama and made her screen debut in the film Mansfield Park, playing the role of Julia Bertram. Steadman has appeared in various television series including The Tudors, The Inbetweeners, Fresh Meat, Midsomer Murders, and Trying Again. Notable roles include Nurse Wilson in Breathless, Mabel Lane Fox in Downton Abbey, Maggie Lewis in Tutankhamun, Gemma in Bucket, Mrs. Forbes in Victoria, and Eliza Gestalt in The Rook. On stage, she has been part of productions such as That Face, Oppenheimer, and Witness for the Prosecution. In addition to her acting career, Steadman is also an author, with her debut novel Something in the Water published in June 2018.
