Cesar Millan, born on August 27, 1969, is a Mexican-American dog trainer. He gained widespread recognition as the host of the Emmy-nominated television series Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, which aired from 2004 to 2012 and was broadcast in over 80 countries. Millan is also a successful author, with his books Cesar's Way, Be the Pack Leader, and A Member of the Family becoming New York Times best sellers. In addition, he has developed his own line of dog products and instructional DVDs. Millan has dedicated his career to rehabilitating aggressive dogs and established the Dog Psychology Center in South Los Angeles. He co-founded the Cesar Millan Foundation (previously known as the Millan Foundation), which provides financial support to animal welfare organizations.
