Cha In-pyo

Cha In-pyo is a South Korean actor and director. Born on October 14, 1967, he graduated from Rutgers University in the U.S. with a degree in economics. Although his father intended for him to take over the family business, Cha had always dreamed of becoming an actor. After working at Hanjin Shipping, he quit his job to pursue acting full-time. He made his debut in the television series Under the Same Roof in 1993 and gained public recognition with his role in Star in My Heart in 1997. Cha has also starred in the SBS drama Hong Kong Express in 2004. He is known for his contributions to the first generation of the Korean Wave.
