Chad Michael Murray (born August 24, 1981) is an American actor, writer, and former model. He gained recognition for his roles in drama series and romantic comedy films. Murray played the lead role of Lucas Scott in the teen drama series One Tree Hill (2003–09, 2012) and had recurring roles on Gilmore Girls (2000–01), Dawson's Creek (2001–02), and Riverdale (2019). He appeared in films such as A Cinderella Story (2004), Freaky Friday (2003), and Fruitvale Station (2013). Murray has also starred in TV shows like Chosen (2013–14), Sun Records (2017), and Sullivan's Crossing (2023–present).
