Chandan Roy is an Indian actor known for his role as Vikas Shukla in the Amazon Prime series Panchayat. Born on December 20, 1995, in Mahnar, Bihar, Roy developed an interest in acting during his school days and actively participated in school plays and community functions. He later pursued Bachelors in Mass Communication from Patna University and became deeply involved in the college theater circuit, performing street plays. Roy further honed his skills by obtaining a Diploma in Radio and Television from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. Apart from his acting career, he previously worked as a journalist for Dainik Jagran. Roy's performance in Panchayat has garnered him critical acclaim from both audiences and critics.
