Charlene L. Tilton (born December 1, 1958) is an American actress and singer. She gained wide recognition for her portrayal of Lucy Ewing on the CBS prime time soap opera Dallas. Tilton started her career with early roles on television series such as Happy Days and Eight Is Enough. She made her film debut in Freaky Friday (1976) alongside Jodie Foster. In 1978, Tilton had a cameo appearance in the film Big Wednesday. Her breakthrough came when she landed the role of Lucy Ewing on Dallas, where she portrayed the sly and vixenish granddaughter of John 'Jock' Ewing Sr. Tilton also made a guest appearance on the spin-off series Knots Landing in 1980. During her Dallas fame, Tilton garnered a $50,000 salary per episode and became a popular figure with appearances on 500 magazine covers and a record-breaking 65 million viewers for her 1981 TV wedding.
