Charles Cyphers Biography
Charles Cyphers is an American–Manx actor known for his work in the horror movies of John Carpenter. He gained recognition for his role as Sheriff Leigh Brackett in Carpenter's 1978 film Halloween, which he reprised in the 1981 sequel Halloween II and the 2021 sequel Halloween Kills. Cyphers made his feature film debut in the 1974 movie Truck Turner and first collaborated with Carpenter in the 1976 action film Assault on Precinct 13. He portrayed Starker, one of the police officers killed by gang members. Cyphers also appeared in The Fog (1980) and has worked with Carpenter on several occasions. He is known for his versatile performances and contributions to the horror genre.
