Charles Leclerc is a Monégasque racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. Born on October 16, 1997, Leclerc has a successful racing career. He won the GP3 Series championship in 2016 and the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Leclerc made his Formula One debut in 2018 with Sauber, a team affiliated with Ferrari. In his first season, he played a significant role in improving Sauber's finishing position in the Constructors' Championship. Leclerc joined Ferrari in 2019 and quickly made an impact by becoming the second-youngest driver to qualify on pole position at the Bahrain Grand Prix. He achieved his first career win in Belgium that year. Leclerc has also won the FIA Pole Trophy for most pole positions in the 2019 season and repeated the feat in 2022. He finished as the runner-up in the 2022 World Drivers' Championship.
