Charles Moniz

Charles Moniz is a Canadian recording engineer, musician, and former bass guitarist for Avril Lavigne. He has worked on studio albums for Bruno Mars, including Unorthodox Jukebox and 24K Magic, as well as Adele's album 25. Moniz has won seven Grammy Awards, including three for Record of the Year and two for Album of the Year. He has also received a Grammy for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. Moniz began his music career as a drummer and played with the Canadian hardcore band Grade before joining Avril Lavigne from 2002 to 2007. Today, he continues to work as an audio engineer for various artists.
