Charles Oakley
Charles Oakley (born December 18, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player. He played most of his 19 seasons in the NBA with the New York Knicks, where he was known for his rebounding and defensive skills as a power forward. Oakley also played for the Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, and Houston Rockets. After retiring from playing, Oakley became the coach of the Killer 3's in the BIG3 league. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Oakley attended John Hay High School and went on to play college basketball at Virginia Union University, leading them to the 1985 NCAA Division II championship. Throughout his career, Oakley scored 2,379 points and was a highly respected player in the NBA.
