Charlie Carver, born Charles Carver Martensen on July 31, 1988, is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Porter Scavo on Desperate Housewives, Ethan on Teen Wolf, and Scott Frost on The Leftovers. He also appeared as Cowboy in both the Broadway production and subsequent film adaptation of The Boys in the Band. Carver's identical twin brother, Max Carver, often portrays the twin of his characters. Born in San Francisco, California, Carver attended St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire. He began his acting career using the name Charlie Martensen before adopting his current stage name.
