Charlie Condou Biography
Charlie Condou (born January 8, 1973) is a British actor, columnist, and LGBT rights activist. He gained recognition for his role as Marcus Dent in the soap opera Coronation Street from 2007 to 2014. Condou also played Ben Sherwood in the medical drama Holby City. His acting career started in the 1980s with television movie roles and guest appearances in British TV series. In addition to his acting work, Condou is actively involved in promoting LGBT rights, serving as a patron for charities and advocating for same-sex parenting. Notable TV appearances include Robin of Sherwood and A Sense of Guilt.
