Charlie Cox

Charlie Thomas Cox (born 15 December 1982) is an English actor best known for his portrayal of Matt Murdock / Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise. He played the character in the television series Daredevil (2015–2018). Cox also appeared as Owen Sleater in HBO's Boardwalk Empire (2011–2012) and as Jonathan Hellyer Jones in the film The Theory of Everything (2014). He has recently starred in the RTÉ drama series Kin (2021) and the Netflix spy miniseries Treason (2022). Cox gained recognition for his role as Tristan Thorn in the 2007 fantasy film Stardust. He made his West End debut in 2008 and has since had a successful career on-screen and on stage.
