He is known for his roles in movies like Platoon (1986), Wall Street (1987), Young Guns (1988), The Rookie (1990), The Three Musketeers (1993), and The Arrival (1996). Sheen gained popularity in the 2000s when he replaced Michael J. Fox on ABC's Spin City, winning a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Charlie Crawford.
