Charlotte Cornwell (26 April 1949 – 16 January 2021) was an English actress and singer, known for her versatile performances on both stage and screen. She began her career with Richard Cottrell's Cambridge Theatre Company and later joined Val May's Bristol Old Vic Theatre Company, where she showcased her talent in various productions. In 1974, she made her screen debut in the musical film Stardust. However, it was her portrayal of the drug-addicted rock star Anna Wynd in the BAFTA award-winning television drama Rock Follies (1976) that brought her widespread recognition. Cornwell's musical trio, alongside Julie Covington and Rula Lenska, achieved chart success with their soundtrack album from the show. Throughout her career, Cornwell's performances captivated audiences and solidified her reputation as a skilled and versatile actress.
