    Chas. Floyd Johnson Biography
    Chas. Floyd Johnson, born Charles Floyd Johnson, is an African-American television producer, actor, and activist. He is best known for his work on popular TV shows such as The Rockford Files (1975–1980), Magnum, P.I. (1982–1988), and Red Tails (2012). Johnson has won three Emmy Awards and has been nominated seven times. Currently, he holds the position of Executive Producer at CBS Television Studios for the hit series NCIS (2003–2019), having previously served as an executive producer for JAG (1997–2005). Johnson hails from Camden, New Jersey, and spent his childhood in Middletown, Delaware. He attended The Stony Brook School and later earned his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor Degrees from Howard University. Prior to his television career, Johnson served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
