Richard Anthony 'Cheech' Marin, born on July 13, 1946, is a Mexican American comedian, actor, musician, and activist. He rose to fame as part of the comedy duo Cheech & Chong in the 1970s and early 1980s, alongside Tommy Chong. Marin also played the role of Insp. Joe Dominguez, Don Johnson's partner, on the TV show Nash Bridges.
