Chelcie Ross Biography
Chelcie Claude Ross (born June 20, 1942) is an American character actor, widely recognized for his roles in Above the Law, Major League, Basic Instinct, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Hoosiers, Rudy, Trouble with the Curve, and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Prior to his acting career, Ross served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, where he received a Bronze Star. After leaving the military in 1970, he pursued his passion for acting, earning an MFA from the Dallas Theater Center. Ross has made notable appearances on television, including an episode of My Name Is Earl, a portrayal of Conrad Hilton in Mad Men, and a role in the series Boss as the chief of the Chicago Police Department.
