Chelsea Peretti

Chelsea Peretti is an American comedian, actress, television writer, singer, and songwriter. Born on February 20, 1978, in Oakland, California, she is best known for her role as Gina Linetti in the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Peretti has also worked as a writer for various TV series, including Parks and Recreation, Saturday Night Live, and Kroll Show. She comes from a diverse background, with her father being of Italian and English descent, her mother being Jewish, and her step-mother being African-American. Peretti attended The College Preparatory School in Oakland before moving to New York City to attend Barnard College. She graduated in 2000.
