Cherien Dabis (born 1976) is an American actress, director, producer, and screenwriter. Dabis gained recognition as one of Variety magazine's 10 Directors to Watch in 2009. She has directed and produced notable projects, including the television series Only Murders in the Building, for which she received a nomination for the Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series award in 2022. Dabis was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and her father is of Palestinian descent while her mother is from Salt, Jordan. Growing up in Celina, Ohio, Dabis often spent summers in Jordan and visited Palestine at the age of 8, having a profound impact on her understanding of Palestinian identity.
