Cherry Jones (born November 21, 1956) is an American actress known for her dynamic roles on stage and screen. She started her career in theater as a founding member of the American Repertory Theater in 1980 before transitioning into film and television. Jones has received three Primetime Emmy Awards and two Tony Awards, with nominations for an Olivier Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
