Cheryl Ruth Hines (born September 21, 1965) is an American actress and comedian. She is known for her role as Larry David's wife, Cheryl, on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. Hines has received two Emmy Award nominations for her performance in the show. She also starred as Dallas Royce on the ABC sitcom Suburgatory. In 2009, Hines made her directorial debut with the film Serious Moonlight. Born in Miami Beach, Florida, Hines was raised in Tallahassee and was a member of the Young Actors Theatre. She attended Lively Technical Center and Tallahassee Community College. Hines has made guest appearances on shows like Swamp Thing and Unsolved Mysteries, and appeared on an episode of The Dating Game in 1996.
