Howard Earl Bailey Jr., known professionally as Chingy, is an American rapper from St. Louis, Missouri. He gained popularity in the early 2000s with his debut single, 'Right Thurr,' which reached No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Chingy was signed to Ludacris' record label, Disturbing Tha Peace, and released his debut album, 'Jackpot,' in 2003. He followed up with albums such as 'Powerballin'' and 'Hoodstar,' which produced hit singles like 'Pullin' Me Back' and 'Dem Jeans.' Chingy's music is characterized by catchy beats and simple lyrics, delivered in a sing-song style.
