Chipo Chung Biography
Chipo Tariro Chung (born August 17, 1977) is a Zimbabwean actress and activist based in London. Born as a refugee in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Chung spent her early years in refugee camps in Mozambique. She was raised in Harare, attending Dominican Convent High School, and honing her acting skills with the theater company Over the Edge. Chung later moved to the United States, where she studied directing at Yale University and trained as an actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Her stage debut was as Ophelia in a production of Hamlet. Chung has appeared in various stage productions and is known for her work in movies and TV shows.
