Chloe Lanier is an American actress known for her role as Nelle Benson on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. Lanier has been nominated for three consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for her portrayal of the villainous character, winning in 2018. She began her acting career in 2009 with a role in the movie The Effects of Tragedy and later joined the cast of Army Wives in 2012. Lanier has also made guest appearances on popular TV shows such as NCIS and portrayed Young Patricia Spencer on General Hospital for its 52nd anniversary storyline. Lanier's audition for the role of Nelle Benson was initially secretive, but after reading the character's description, she decided to go for it with the support of her boyfriend.
