Chord Overstreet Biography
Chord Paul Overstreet (born February 17, 1989) is an American actor and musician. He gained fame for his role as Sam Evans on the Fox television series Glee (2009–2015). Overstreet currently stars in the Apple TV+ comedy series Acapulco. In addition to his acting career, he pursued music as a solo artist after signing to Safehouse Records. Overstreet released his debut single, 'Homeland', on August 26, 2016, through Safehouse and Island Records. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, to parents Julie and Paul Overstreet, he comes from a musical family. He is of German, Irish, and English descent and was named after the musical term. Overstreet grew up on a farm outside of Nashville and began playing the mandolin before expanding to other instruments.
